SCAMPER With Bob Eberle was designed in 1977, a check list to assist in the development of new products or services. Its items, based on the products designed by BBDO-founder Alex Osborn questions for product innovation, offer prospects for possible changes and is detailed as follows:
ubstitute S - Replacing people, components or materials
C ombine - Combining with other components
A DAPT - Adapting features or appearance
M odifiy - Change the size, shape, feel or Acoustic
P ut to other use - New, combined changes
liminate E - reduce, simplify, superfluous remove
R everse - Change through opposite use, reversing or bringing the inside out
within the portfolio work I have put the students the task of improving a product from your everyday life by the change approaches. Some results of student reflections will be presented at the end of the treatment period in this blog.
