planned, we had breakfast today cozy and then packed our swimsuits. As at 11.20 Clock, no bus was there to drive us to the Blue Lagoon, we asked the staff at the reception Baim bus operators to call. Apparently an employee had our reservations do not apply to the pick up list, so we were because we were the only ones from our hotel, not picked up. That's happened to us here, in all the years that we come to Iceland, so far only once. Without further ado, we have the swimming trip postponed by two hours. This time we took a walk along the beach promenade. It was beautiful weather today with sunshine. The temperature was all day at -1 to 0 degrees. On our walk we got a sneak preview of the construction in the city. One can hardly imagine as this city in the 6 years that we come here is now grown. Yesterday on the drive from the airport to Reykjavik, we asked ourselves, who will probably all move into the many new buildings and houses under construction. It is unlikely to occur at what pace this whole city.

Back at the hotel we had to not wait until our bus arrived and just over half an hour later we were on target. Construction works, which were last year still in progress, are of course far from complete. The showers are all finished and the new restaurant is in operation. The snack bar is now on the former restaurant and the new wing, there is a large Viewing deck, which can be reached from inside. Here is a magnificent view over the whole lagoon and beyond. We have endured broken in the 30 to 42 degrees warm water, a few visits to the steam room or sauna for almost three hours. The air temperature was around freezing, an almost too hot before. At 18:00 clock we took the bus back to the hotel where we ate in the restaurant for dinner.
From the warm water and the lush dinner geschlaucht properly, no one had any great desire that many, in the course of the day made to see pictures and we were relatively early in the bed to the Golden Circle, which is tomorrow expected to be fit. At 8:30 we get the clock ordered car and make our way to visit the three standard objectives of a trip to Iceland, Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir.
